Visualizing the future for generations

Probable Futures aims to drive climate literacy through its tools, stories, and resources. They needed a partner to help do that online.

Challenge

How can a non-profit without an engineering team build a cutting-edge digital platform that uses stories and data to drive climate literacy?

Outcome

Speedlane engineers built a custom CMS on top of WordPress that the team and Probable Futures can use to tell compelling stories in a beautiful format. The team also built a suite of interactive mapping tools that visitors can use to learn more about how climate affects them.

Impact

Probable Futures has helped tens of thousands of people learn more about our changing climate. Their website has become a leading resource for academics, nonprofits, and businesses. They’ve also entered into an ongoing partnership with Speedlane to continue to innovate new ways to tell climate stories.
